Three people died and 12 were injured when a truck, which reportedly suffered brake failure, hit multiple vehicles on the old Pune-Mumbai highway near Lonavla in Maharashtra. The accident occurred at 10.20 pm on Sunday at Battery Hill near Bor Ghat. The victims included a 10-year-old girl and her father, who were travelling in a car.
