Three Naxals, including two women, carrying a collective reward of Rs 19 lakh on their heads surrendered in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district. They cited disillusionment with "hollow" and "inhuman" Maoist ideology and exploitation of tribals by the senior cadre as the reason to surrender, police said. All surrendered Naxalites were provided instant assistance of Rs 50,000 each, the police added.
