At least three people died amid heavy rains in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, State Disaster Management Authority said. Heavy rains lashed five out of eight districts in Marathwada, with Beed receiving the highest rainfall of 143.7mm in 24 hours ending Tuesday morning, followed by Nanded and Jalna. Two people were reported dead in Beed and one in Nagpur.
