An FIR was lodged at Kharvel Nagar Police Station under serious charges, including assault, conspiracy, and attempt to kidnap for attacking Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo. Police arrested three individuals, Jeevan Rout, Rashmi Mahapatra, and Debashis Pradhan. Sahoo was dragged, kicked in face for allegedly misbehaving with a BJP leader.
