A demolition drive took place in Delhi's Jangpura area on Sunday targeting over 300 illegal shanties. The drive occurred following the Delhi High Court's order aimed at unclogging the Barapullah drain and avoiding waterlogging in the area. Around 189 residents were rehabilitated to Narela in North Delhi, but the remaining residents were seen protesting and crying during the demolition.
