Around 39 senior citizens were rescued from an old-age home in Noida's Sector 55 after a viral video showed an elderly woman locked in a room. The elderly people were found locked in rooms, with no staff to look after them as some wore urine and faeces-stained clothes. Apart from a ₹2.5-lakh donation, the institution charged ₹6,000/month from their families.
