Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 39 illegal infiltrators were "PUSHED BACK" to Bangladesh via the Sribhumi district in the wee hours of Friday. "We will hunt down every illegal infiltrator and send them back to their origins. Assam is NOT your breeding ground," he said. The Assam government has been cracking down on illegal infiltrators, particularly from Bangladesh.
