An ongoing operation in Kulgam district has entered its third day, with security forces believing that "four to five militants are trapped" in the area, according to officials. One militant has been killed and two soldiers injured in the intermittent firing. The joint team of forces cordoned off Akhal village after receiving information about militant presence.
