Four BJP MLAs, Dipak Barman, Shankar Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul and Manoj Oraon, were suspended from West Bengal Assembly on Monday. MLAs were suspended after they staged protests and raised slogans in the House during discussion on expunging certain remarks from assembly records. "We were only exercising our right to protest, but...we were thrown out", one of the suspended MLAs said.
