Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari said four blood donors linked to Chaibasa Sadar Hospital were found HIV positive. His remark came after five children suffering from thalassemia tested HIV positive. Calling it "serious lapse", he ordered an inquiry and said strict action will be taken if anyone is found guilty. He also announced ₹2 lakh ex-gratia for the affected families.
