At least four people died and three others went missing after a landslide struck Sikkim's Yangthang Constituency late on Thursday night. The rescue team, involving local police, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel, and residents from nearby villages, constructed a makeshift bridge from tree logs to evacuate injured people across the dangerously flooded Hume River.
