Authorities in Leh announced on Tuesday a four-hour curfew relaxation following violent clashes between police and protesters demanding statehood for Ladakh. During the relaxation in curfew, people flocked to markets to buy groceries, clothes, and other essentials. The curfew has now entered its sixth consecutive day, after the September 24 clashes left four people dead and many injured.
