The Bullet Train project's undersea tunnel work (approximately 21 km), which includes a 7-km stretch under the sea, has begun. Out of the 4.8-km stretch between Ghansoli and Shilphata in Maharashtra, 4 km has been completed. The entire project (BKC to Sabarmati section) is expected to be completed by December 2029.
