Mumbai Police has suspended four police constables for "indiscipline and negligence" over leaving consulate office of a foreign country without security for 30 minutes. They had also left the key of the guard room, where weapons were kept, unattended. An officer stated that this action will send a message in the department that such unprofessional behaviour will not be tolerated.
