JD(U)'s first list of 57 candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections includes four women. They are Kavita Saha from Madhepura, Ashwamedh Devi from Samastipur, Raveena Kushwaha from Bibhutipur, and Komal Singh from Gaighat. The list has no Muslim candidates. Candidates for 12 of the 38 SC-reserved seats were also announced. JD(U) will contest 101 seats under the NDA seat-sharing arrangement.
