Around 400 volunteers came together on Wednesday for a cleanup drive organised by Project Mumbai and cleaned the area around Juhu Koliwada Beach in Mumbai. The volunteers removed almost 2000 kg of plastic waste from the coast. The collected plastic waste will be recycled into amenities. The three-day event was supported by the Maharashtra government and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
