Around 45 lakh Indian investors discontinued their Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) in October, despite overall SIP inflows reaching a fresh high of ₹29,529 crore, AMFI data showed. The SIP stoppage ratio stood at 76.27% in September and moderated slightly to 75% in October. The industry added 60 lakh new SIP accounts in October, bringing total SIP accounts to 9.88 crore.
