Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed Parliament that around 489 road projects, scheduled for completion by March 2025, are delayed due to land acquisition, forest clearances, and railway approvals. He said the government is working with states and stakeholders to resolve issues. Gadkari added that some delayed projects have seen cost overruns due to land prices, GST, and design changes.
