A new study from the Harvard Ageing Brain Study suggests that daily walking may slow cognitive decline linked to Alzheimer's. Adults who walked around 5,000 steps a day showed slower buildup of tau proteins, delaying brain ageing by about three years. At 7,500 steps, the slowdown was nearly seven years. Researchers say early lifestyle changes can protect brain health.
