An earthquake measuring 5.4 on Richter scale jolted Andaman and Nicobar Islands at 12:06 pm on Sunday, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. The epicentre was at 90 km, NCS said on X. However, according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences, the magnitude was 6.07, and the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometres.
