Five people died in a head-on collision between two cars on early Monday morning on the Kaithal-Kurukshetra road near Ghararsi village. The accident is believed to have been caused by overspeeding. One car carrying six passengers was completely damaged, killing five of them on the spot and leaving one injured. Four occupants of the other vehicle were also injured.
