A total of five youths from the same family died after drowning in Godavari river in Telangana's Basara, Police said. The family from Hyderabad, comprising 18 members, had gone to take holy dip in Godavari river, as part of a tradition. We have taken the five deceased bodies to Bhainsa government hospital for post-mortem examination, Sub-Inspector, Basara Police Station said.
