Over 500 animal lovers and activists will gather at Mumbai's Daulat Nagar 'kabootarkhana' (pigeon feeding zones) in Maharashtra on Sunday to feed pigeons in protest. They are opposing BMC’s crackdown on pigeon feeding spots. The civic body began removing encroachments and imposing fines after orders to shut kabootarkhanas. Activists had earlier warned of mass protests if actions continued.
