The Supreme Court upheld the conviction of a man, now 53, in a 1988 rape case but directed him to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board, which can send him to prison for a maximum of three years. The accused was 16 years old at the time of the crime, SC noted. He is accused of raping an 11-year-old.
