In a shocking incident in Pune's Wagholi, a six-day-old infant was abandoned under a bench at a garden on Sunday evening. Alert locals informed the police when the woman who left the infant didn't return. The infant was safely shifted to an NGO via Sassoon Hospital. Police have launched a probe to trace the woman through hospitals and CCTV footage.
