A seven-year-old boy died of electrocution in UP's Lucknow on Sunday morning after coming in contact with an exposed transformer while retrieving a cricket ball in his neighbourhood. The child was playing with friends around 10 am when their ball rolled near the transformer. Residents blamed electricity department for ignoring repeated complaints about the damaged gate guarding the transformer.
