The government has undertaken nearly 272 projects under the Sagarmala programme to improve rail and road connectivity. In a written reply to Rajya Sabha, Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that nearly 74 projects have been completed. "Out of the 272 projects, 74 projects have been completed, 67 projects are under implementation and 131 are under development," Sonowal said.
