PRIME Meghalaya, in collaboration with Bio-NEST NIPER Guwahati, has identified 769 traditional healers across the state, with 143 shortlisted for scientific validation. The initiative aims to preserve and modernise traditional healing practices, starting with remedies for six health conditions, including malaria and arthritis.
