PM Narendra Modi on Saturday said that 77 railway stations across Tamil Nadu are being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme. "Tamil Nadu is a major centre of the modernisation campaign of railway infrastructure," he said, speaking at the Thoothukudi rally. Under the scheme, stations undergo redevelopment in phases, with improvements to toilets, waiting halls, and other areas.
