On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma hoisted the National Flag at the Kalka Stadium, took the salute at the march past and paid tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation, saying, "It is because of their sacrifice, that we breathe in the open air today."
