Archaeologists discovered an underwater city in Denmark's Bay of Aarhus submerged by rising sea levels over 8,500 years ago called Stone Age Atlantis. Underwater archaeologist Peter Moe Astrup called the Stone Age settlement a "time capsule" where "everything was preserved in an oxygen-free environment" and "time just stopped". Animal bones, stone tools, arrowheads, etc were found at site.
