Eight people, including seven women, were killed, and four others were injured after a truck collided head-on with a mini-van on the outskirts of Patna. The accident occurred in Shahjahanpur near the Patna-Nalanda border, police said. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital. "The driver of the truck managed to flee from the spot," SP (Rural) Vikram Sihag said.
