Eight people were killed after a vehicle carrying 13 people plunged into a 150-metre-deep gorge in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh on Tuesday. The accident happened near Bhandari village in the Muwani area when the vehicle was going from Muwani to Bokta, as per reports. Pithoragarh SP Rekha Yadav said that police officials have reached the spot and rescue operations are underway.
