PD Gopidas from Kerala's Alappuzha, who dropped out of school in Class 6 and worked as beedi roller and security guard, has passed Class 12 exam at the age of 80. "Even though I'd stopped formal schooling, I kept reading regularly, so it wasn't too difficult to start again," he stated. Gopidas added he used to study with his grandchildren.
