An 83-year-old woman from UK's Norfolk died after her granddaughter's pet dog licked her wound, a court heard. An inquest found that June Baxter, who had suffered a cut from her commode, died due to an infection caused by Pasteurella multocida, a bacterium commonly found in the mouths of domestic animals. The coroner recorded a conclusion of accidental death.
