At least 85 people were hospitalised due to suspected food poisoning in Madurai after consuming food at a temple festival in neighbouring Virudhunagar district. However, the dean of the hospital said that all the patients are stable. Among those admitted, 55 are women and 11 are children, according to health officials. Health authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
