An 85-year-old Mumbai woman, Zoreida Basrai, recovered remarkably after a complex hip surgery at a hospital located in South Mumbai. Operated by Dr Amyn Rajani, senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon she walked the same day and was discharged in five days without an ICU stay which is rare at her age. Doctors credit early surgery, advanced care, and strong post-op recovery.
