An 85-year-old ex-Chinese soldier, who has been living in India since 1963, now faces risk of deportation as his visa has expired. The man, Wang Chi, has now sought a long-term visa. Chi was arrested by Indian Army in 1963 after inadvertently crossing the border into Arunachal Pradesh while serving as an engineer in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
