At least 14 people have been killed in protests over ban on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and other social media platforms in Nepal. This happened as protestors clashed with police personnel. The platforms were banned last week after they failed to register with authorities in a crackdown on spread of hate speech and fake news.
