During a hearing on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) being done by the Election Commission, the Supreme Court said Aadhaar card is not a conclusive identity proof and is just an authentication of identity. The exercise is currently underway in Bihar. SC said Block Level Officers are right in saying Aadhaar, ration cards can't be accepted as conclusive proof.
