Discussing AAP's loss in the Delhi Assembly polls, Yogendra Yadav said that AAP deserved the "electoral drubbing" and it "proved no different from the mainstream parties it sought to replace". He, however, stated that there is nothing to celebrate about AAP's defeat. Yadav added BJP's victory in Delhi polls could undermine democratic institutions. Yadav was expelled from AAP in 2015.
