The morning aarti was performed at Delhi's Jhandewala Devi Temple on the seventh day of Shardiya Navratri on Wednesday. Navratri is dedicated to worship of Goddess Durga and her nine avatars. Mata Kaalratri is worshipped on the seventh day. She's believed to be destroyer of evil spirits and negative energies, and is said to protect her devotees from all evil.
