Batter Abhimanyu Easwaran, who earned his maiden Test call-up in December 2022 and has been awaiting his India debut since, has been dropped from the two-match Test series against West Indies. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar said India don't need a third opener in the squad for the Test series at home. Easwaran has scored 7,885 runs in 104 first-class matches.
