Abu Dhabi-backed Space42 is seeking funds to expand in Africa, taking on Elon Musk's Starlink. The firm is in talks with the African Union Development Agency, Microsoft, and Esri. Already active in South Africa and Zimbabwe, Space42 has eight satellites in orbit and plans three more this year. Starlink, with 6M+ users and presence in ~20 African nations.
