The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) clean swept Hyderabad Central University student elections, defeating the Left Student Union alliance. Shiva Palepu was elected President, Devendra as Vice President, and Shruti as General Secretary. "In just last year, ABVP has stormed Patna, Punjab, JNU, Delhi, Guwahati, Manipur, and several Uttarakhand universities," said BJP leader Amit Malviya.
