Kerala bid an emotional farewell to former Chief Minister and veteran CPI(M) leader VS Achuthanandan, as tens of thousands lined the 151-km route from Thiruvananthapuram to his native Punnapra. His funeral will be held on Wednesday in Valiyachudukadu, as the state observes three days of official mourning.
