Republican leader Joe Wilson said Russian drones entering Poland's airspace is "an act of war", while calling Russian President Vladimir Putin "a war criminal". "I urge President (Donald) Trump to respond with mandatory sanctions that will bankrupt the Russian war machine," said Wilson. The Polish military, along with NATO allies' air defence systems, shot down Russian drones.
