Manipuri actor Bijou Thaangjam, known for Mary Kom, shared a similar experience to Isha Talwar's 'weird' audition story with YRF casting director Shanoo Sharma for Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. "I wasn't fluent in Hindi, but hopeful to give my best. I was asked to perform a scene in front of a cafe. I didn't give in," he recalled.
