A 73-year-old actor, Amresh Mahajan, who was playing Lord Ram’s father, King Dasharath, died on stage after a suspected heart attack during Ramleela in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba. While delivering his dialogue, he leaned on a fellow actor’s shoulder. Initially, others thought it was part of the act, but he soon lost consciousness. Rushed to hospital, doctors declared him dead.
