Actor Vijay was hit with a slipper as he attended actor-politician Vijayakanth's funeral at Island Ground in Chennai. A video being shared online shows Vijay walking through a mob of fans when the slipper comes flying towards him and hits him. Vijayakanth, who had tested positive for COVID-19 and was on ventilator support, passed away on Thursday.
